Personalized care that honors your healing journey.

How do I start?

1

Initial Consultation

During our first one or two sessions, we’ll explore your goals, get a sense of what’s going on, and start building a treatment plan that fits your needs.

2

Individualized Treatment

We will continue weekly care for approximately 6-8 weeks.

3

Revisiting Goals

Together, we re-evaluate the plan: Continue weekly care, move to bi-weekly care, pause care, or graduate from care.

"Before starting at Inner Light Therapy, I felt lost in a cycle of self-doubt and exhaustion as a busy mom juggling everything. Now, I see my life as a journey of progress rather than a pursuit of perfection. I am truly thankful for the progress I’ve made in becoming a more compassionate version of myself.

FAQs

How do I know if therapy is right for me?

If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply curious about understanding yourself more deeply, therapy offers an empathetic space to explore those feelings. Whether you’re navigating everyday stresses, challenges with communication, life transitions, or deeper emotional struggles, therapy can help you build emotional intelligence, develop effective coping skills, and gain fresh perspectives. Together, we’ll work at a pace that feels right for you, creating meaningful change that helps you feel more grounded and balanced in your day-to-day life. It’s a supportive journey tailored just for you—where your experiences are honored and your growth is truly celebrated.

What can I expect in my first session?

In your first session, we’ll take time to talk about what brings you to therapy, what you're hoping to get out of it, and any questions or concerns you may have.

As part of this session, we’ll complete what's called a psychosocial intake. This is simply a guided conversation that helps me learn more about different aspects of your life—such as your current stressors, mental and physical health, family and relationship history, work or school experiences, cultural background, and any previous therapy or support you've received. There are no right or wrong answers, and you're always in control of what you feel comfortable sharing.

This process helps us get a fuller picture of who you are so we can tailor your care to support your unique needs and create a treatment plan that feels intentional and aligned with your goals.

Is online therapy effective and is it right for me?

Many people find that Telehealth is just as effective as in-person therapy when it comes to managing or processing anxiety, depression, grief, stress, and relationship challenges. One of the biggest advantages is convenience—you can join your session from home, the office, or any confidential and comfortable space that works for you. This flexibility can make it much easier to fit therapy into a busy schedule, removing the time and stress of commuting.

For many, being in their own familiar environment during sessions creates a greater sense of ease and emotional safety, allowing them to open up more freely. Whether you're navigating everyday stressors or working through deeper issues, Telehealth offers a supportive, accessible way to connect with a therapist and prioritize your mental health—no matter where you are.
